ALL ABOUT ME
I have extensive experience and knowledge in Elementary education specifically teaching math. My Bachelor’s degree is Bachelor of Elementary Education with English concentration and specialization in Mathematics. I also had my master’s degree in Special Education and graduated in the same institution, Philippine Normal University. I gained another Master's degree in Mathematics (Master of Arts in Mathematics Education) last 2019. My thesis title was "Improving Problem Solving Performance through Varied Teaching Approaches: A meta-analysis.
My background includes teaching primary students for 4 years in a Montessori school where I gained so much experiences on how to teach Mathematics using the Montessori approach. I am currently teaching now in a progressive and technology-infused school, De La Salle Santiago Zobel School for 12 years. I have developed modules and lesson plans for my instruction and incorporated technology in my classes. I am skilled at handling students with special needs and with different nationalities, organizing programs and directing community concert as part our school tradition during the Vision and Mision Week.

In addition to this, teaching has always been my passion. I have been awarded four times as a Perfect attendance awardee, last 2010, 2013, 2015, 2017 and had been a Runner Up in the Exemplary in Teaching Portfolio Category and Runner Up too in Instructional Teaching Materials Individual and Group Category. Finally, my entry in Exemplary in Teaching Portfolio last AY 2018 - 2019 was awarded as Winner. I also have trained students who are good in Math and acted as their coach in the competition and was able to reach the regional level.

A content creator on YouTube, MATHinYOU channel where I upload Math instructional videos to help the learners, love, learn and enjoy Math.

Have presented my action research in the STAR culminating activity, CHARM- DLSU Webinar Workshop and in IC4E conference

Now I am enjoying the life of being the mentor of my pupils utilizing different approaches to reach the optimum level of understanding of the different mathematical concepts.
